4 ohm or 2 ohm

when running 4 12s that are 400 rms (200 each coil)each to a 1600 rms 1 ohm stable amp do i need to run dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm. cuz the kicker subs im looking at is the same price for the dual 4ohm and dual 2 ohm. i did a search but im still a little unsure. thank you

if i went with 4 2 ohm duals would that bridge them down to 1 ohm or like 1.3 ohms
