not much to loom at but heres a little update

dont mind the wonderful walmart battery they are getting replaced in a few days when my others show up. of course wont bump till they are in. i will not **** up a $3300 amp

all wiring has been upgraded to 1/0 of course

the alt is a Excessive Amperage 300 amp

subs are supposed to be delivered tomorrow then i can finish that d**n box and will be running my power wire tomorrow.

well huge change of plans. if anyone has seen my thread over in classifieds im gettin screwed on the subs i bought.

was supposed to be 4 15" MTs

were reconded as 18s

they havent been delivered and the seller wont take my calls or make contact in anyway with me

Cadence came thro for me again tho

all Cadence set up

will be 4 Daytona RVC 15s now

going to work on the box today. had to scrap a full sheet of 3/4 MDF that was doubled up since i already cut holes for the 18s

thanks to the seller for costing me so much on this project now

will post pics this evening

working on bracing, new top, and hopefully cover the SOB

they are really only there to supprt the weight. they are 1 1/2 inches dia.

the box is 2 inches thick on all sides

the reason i used the dowels in the box rather than using mdf or something else simply they let air flow around them freely.

thanks for the compliment. i just hope i can get it together and the material on it tonight. we will probably run the wiring as well. using pvc inside the frame rail to keep it from getting hung up or something. afterall it is a 4x4 and i do use it like a truck

i didnt go all out for the compressor and everything cause i dont need it. if i need air i can get out and put it in

the bags will support an extra 2500lbs

people around here drill the license plate hole a little bigger and use it through one of the plate holes. really clean, you can't even tell its there.

Dowels will help if they're tying 2 sides together same as threaded rod. I've built several boxes like that and they never flexed and the dowels stayed in place.

Spot in the bumper looks functional to me and works for you, so it's all good...
