What is the max size fuse to use for the big 3 using 4 guage? the alt is 100a.

Also if youre runnin a comp amp and sub amp, would it b better to do 1 run to the back or 2 separate runs? the sub run would b 1/0 and the comp will b 4 guage.

Depends on what you want to do. Do you want a dedicated run to each amp, or do only one run to save money?

I would do 2 separate runs, 1/0 & 4ga. Use a 300A fuse for the 1/0, and 125a for the 4ga.

for 4 guage, use a 150 amp fuse

and i have a setup like your looking to do, and what i personally did was run 2 runs of 1/0 wire. (1 positive, 1 negative) ran them to 2 distribution blocks that sent out 1/0 wire to my sub amp and 4 guage wire to my comp amp. so you could also use d-blocks to your advantage, but keep in mind that using them could end up being more expensive then another run of wire and fuse holder. its all your preference

well i already got the 4 gauge run thru the car from my previous setup. i was just gon run the 0 gauge a long side of that so each amp had its own power wire, and gettin some 4 gauge for a friend to do the big 3.

But then i thought about takin out the 4 guage and using that as the wire for my big 3, then ran the 0 guage to a block then to the amps.

i got a 250a fuse from knukonceptz wehn i brought my 1/0 amp kit
