I'm looking into two good equalizers (Audiobahn [4 band] and Clarion [7 band])as stated above. Which would be the best to go with? I've seen five really good reviews for the Clarion and the Audiobahn has impressive specs. I have an inexpensive 4-band parametric now (Pyle Retail $35) and I like it somewhat but it's low end quality and the mid-ranges are harsh. I have an Alpine head unit and 400W Kenwood amp driving 4.5"(2) and 6"x9"(2) Infinity speakers. I used the Pyle with 6x9 Kenwoods and mid knobs were lousy, as well.

Why does Audiobahn ****? Their equalizers have just as good specs as Phoenix Gold or any other equalizer under $200.

Audiobahn AEQ7/AEQ8 (4-band):

Signal/Noise 105 dB

Boost/Cut 18 dB

Voltage output 8 V

Phoenix Gold TEQP4 (4-band):

S/N 110 dB

Boost/Cut 15 dB

Voltage output 8 V
