350Z Budget Build

Thanks everyone, appreciate the comments.

I had a little delay, my neighbor asked me to go to lunch and since I'm really not in any hurry I put everything down and walked away for a little while. I've been home an hour or so and I'm already soaking wet. It's freaking hot out there!

Got a couple of boards carpeted and added a couple of distribution blocks.

I need to do some trim pieces but I'm going to wait until after I get the amps adjusted before I put them in there.

Thank you. I just turned it on for the first time and all I can say is that tens weren't nearly this loud a few years ago. The fronts sound pretty good as well. It is by no means a competition system but I am very happy with it. I'll get some more pictures this evening or tomorrow. Right now I am just going to enjoy the AC and rubbing my dog's belly.

All I have to do tomorrow is put the glove box and all of the trim back in the car. After that it will probably get a nice scrubbing and then possibly a little joy ride.

It's done (for now)!!!!! I still need to do some trim work and install the new glove box door but other than that it's pretty much done. I may add a cap later and I want to add a fuse block as well.

Here is the only real flaw on the interior. The previous owner spilled some wood glue on the seat a couple of months ago. My wife worked several hours getting the glue off but unfortunately it left a stain that just doesn't want to come out. I am on the lookout for a passenger seat to replace this one eventually.

Looks nice & clean. This makes me want to go get the same exact ride & color (gotta love that blue). Do they make a glove box for were the amps are, or do you have to do a custom one?

Thank you. They do not make a glove box for where the amps are but with a little work you can convert a passenger side glove box to work.

Just gave my car a bath and took it over to my parent's house to snap a few photos. I am far from a professional but I think they turned out pretty well.

Nice car, and I love this build. Kind of nice to see a build that is small and well done... Bit of a change from all the ZOMG 20 18" NIGHTSHADES kind of builds. Not that there's anything wrong with those //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
