3 way electronic crossover recommendations.

Can anyone recommend a 3 way electronic crossover that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. One of my requirements is that I be able to run a midbass setup in the doors of my megacab from around 80 hz up to 500 hz. Every resonable crossover I've looked at is fairly limited on the bandpass region for component setups where the minimum mid/high crossover is a fairly high 1800 hz. I remember back in the day (early 90's) running an alphasonik EX3 that worked perfectly running a midbass setup. Any Ideas short of a high dollar AudioControl digital unit?

Yeah...the Coustic would have worked but I'm a bit scared of buying some used stuff that might work for a while...or might not. I guess after going back to Audiocontrol's site I could use 2 of the 2xs models. I could run the highpass output from the first one to the second one and get an effective bandpass that way. According to the manual the crossover modules can be made for any frequency. I'm just curious if I might gain some noise putting the mid/high signal through two crossovers.

I have a Memphis 16-CX35 that I ran in a 3-way setup for a while. It meets your requirements except for the fact that its highest LPF is at 400hz instead of 500.

Low pass: 50 - 400hz

Bandpass: 50 - 4,000hz

High pass: 500 hz - 4,000hz

I'd sell it to you for pretty cheap if interested.

I have a mint Coustic XM3e with the cable and bass knob...I figured I might use in a future install....it is risky buying used equipment though

The sony seems limited to just a few switch selectable crossover frequencies none of which fit my application. I'm starting to like the 2 audio control 2XS idea more and more.
