(3) Type R's and (3) Nine.1's

I like type r's in general .. and i have one 12" dual 2 ohms already .. I can get 3 nine 1's for $900. I would probably have to upgrade my electrical system. The plan is to give each Type R its own amp obviously at 1200 x 1 ohm. Am i too crazy? Or will this sound insane? I'm really gonna need some specs for a box.

you seriously need to upgrade electricals, if you havent and with that many Rs, tune them

I hope you have a big trunk and a strong elecrical....if I were you I would just go dual 12s with an IA 20.1 wired to .5 ohm....should be ***. With a well designed box it should be plenty loud....

yeah i just hope the R's can handle 1200 rms .. might have to do some testing before i buy them all .. although im sure they can .. im giving this one 800 daily ..

around $700, if I was you I'd just pick up a used one for around 500-600, they're built like tanks and I am sure IA would be willing to help you if you ever some how managed to **** it up. heard they can be ran at .35 ohms daily while only getting luke warm at most. but ive never owned one personally so i cant tell you for sure

yeah .. maybe someone who owns one will make a post here about it .. lol .. but i've heard nothing but good things about nine.1's since forever .. i know the average joe might have two type r's at the most .. but rollin around with 3 will definately stand out from the crowd .. thats what im trying to go for .. uniqueness ..
