i have 3 2ohm 12'' orion hcca subs. what ohm load will it run to the amp?.. and how should i run them. i have a orion hcca 5000d amp. it will put out 2500rms and it is 1 ohm stable.. thanks for the help...

His response was accurate.

It's only going to give you full possible output in short bursts during musical peaks when you've got the volume full tilt. At low volumes certainly the amp won't work near as hard as when you're going all out to show off or whatever...

i was looking 4 tops rms. say full tilt 14.4 volts the most possible rms at 1.34 ohms with 2500rms @ 1ohm thanks

After rise, which we cant calculate for you

Top RMS my guess would be around 2100 or so, give or take.

Depends on what you actually end up with after rise.

Edit: What electrical do you have? If you have a beefy electrical that amp will more than likely handle the .67, after rise it wont be far off a true 1ohm

Are they single 2ohm or dual 2ohm?

If single, your only option is .666 or 6ohms really...
