3 10" type r

i have a friend who was wondering if a pdx 1000.1 would be able to push 3 type r 10's ok? he has 2 now and wants to add a 3rd.

well, yes, it will push them.

will it push them well? not at all.

i'de rather stick with the two 10's, or get a bigger amp

yes it will work but not well, tell him to just keep the 2 10's...and if he really wants to tell him to buy another 1000.1 and run 1 to each 10"

yes. Will be no issue. Those amps do rated power at 1-4ohms. i vote for just using the 2 he has now. Actually buy a 3rd and buy 2 more pdx 1000.1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i dont know, i can offer a differing opinion here. my girlfriend has 3 of the first gen type r's off roughly 600 rms total, in a small sealed box and it's pretty loud and was louder than my 3 ID oem's running off of 1100rms.

same car too. im just saying it can sound good and get pretty loud.

i could be wrong but i think its only stable to 2 ohms.... dont believe its 1 ohm stable.
