2ohm or 4ohm

I'm going to get a zx1500.1 to run 2 12" L7's. The amp runs 1500 watts at 2 ohms. So do I need to get the 2 ohm or 4 ohm versions of my L7's?

Two 2ohm subs can only be ran at either 4ohms or 1ohm in mono.

He needs the 4ohm version to wire in parallel to end up with a mono load at 2ohms.

To run a mono load of 2ohms, yes.

Yes. And then you will wire them in parallel to get the 2 ohm load that you want for 1500w
