I have been putting adding the 2nd battery I bought for a few months now because I don't want to pay a shop an extreme amount of money to see how much my alt puts out(Isolator only does 60A, I don't want it to wreck it) so I haven't installed my battery yet.
I haven't done the big 3 yet either, should it really matter when most of the energy is coming from the battery?
Anyways I want to know how much the 2nd battery will hurt me first one, the one up front is just a stock replacement and the one for the stereo in the rear is a kinetic, one of the mid level batteries they sell forget the actual model.
I was thinking I could install a switch or something that I would flick on when I want my stereo?(any suggestions?) How does that sound? So they won't drain each other when the vehicle is off.
Running 4 Gauge all over the vehicle, My 2 amps both take 4 gauge, I am going to ground the rear battery with 1/0 Gauge.
