2nd Battery with no Isolator?

I have been putting adding the 2nd battery I bought for a few months now because I don't want to pay a shop an extreme amount of money to see how much my alt puts out(Isolator only does 60A, I don't want it to wreck it) so I haven't installed my battery yet.

I haven't done the big 3 yet either, should it really matter when most of the energy is coming from the battery?

Anyways I want to know how much the 2nd battery will hurt me first one, the one up front is just a stock replacement and the one for the stereo in the rear is a kinetic, one of the mid level batteries they sell forget the actual model.

I was thinking I could install a switch or something that I would flick on when I want my stereo?(any suggestions?) How does that sound? So they won't drain each other when the vehicle is off.

Running 4 Gauge all over the vehicle, My 2 amps both take 4 gauge, I am going to ground the rear battery with 1/0 Gauge.

Alright I just wanted to make sure I don't have money for a new starter battery, I don't really have to connect the battery grounds to each other right?

Just another question doing the big three for "Alternator Positive to Battery Positive" Since my alternator doesn't put out much more than I would guess 80A at the best of times, probs not even that high, but is it a 350 engine, I shouldn't need to Fuse this wire if I am using 4 Gauge?

use 1/0 with big 3, fuse the alt to batt(i didnt...its like a foot away) use a SOLONOID!!!same shiz. for the 2nd batt and connect it to the fuse box or the hu remote or red wire to get it 2 connect the 2 batts wen its on an off wen its off. get a 200 amp isolator. i used like a 100 amp one an it got so hot that it stuck open an would not click anymore. ore just use a anl and disconnect it at night wen your not using it. the 2 batterys will drain each other. my back batt sits at 12.9 , front at 12.56 but after like a day of music an 2 days of sitting they both were at like 12.2 resting. i take mine apart at night
