2nd Battery install question

I am having a few issues with my lights at night on my 2002 Pathfinder. I was going to add a cap until I read all of the posts. I would add another battery but I need to know where a good spot to install it would be and also how it would get charged.

I did such a good job hiding all my amps and wiring that I really have no place left for a battery inside the back of my Pathfinder. I would have a few small places for a Cap but I don't want crap or to buy something that really does not fix the problem.

I am not interested in a bigger alt.....

Running near 800+ watts.

Yah, just get one of those there like the size of a motorcycle battery.
To install it you need to run the original power wire to the positive of the new battery, ground it, and run a wire from the positive of the new bat to the amp
is that all you need to install a 2nd battery in the trunk?..i heard somewhere that if you use this method that the battery in the trunk will not receive the proper charge..i really dont know since i am not that much of an expert, but that what i heard..i heard of ppl using isolators or hooking it up to the fule pump..I was thinking of adding a 2nd battery but when I heard these thngs then I said "nevermind"...lol
