2nd Battery/Distro Block Fuse question?

Ok, Im ordering a small second battery for the trunk and here is what I understand.

Underhood Battery Positive to Trunk Battery Positive

-Fuse 1: Usual underhood spot (I have 300a fuse under there)

Does a second fuse go near the battery in trunk from original wire of positive? (long 13ft strand with fuses 1ft away from both batteries)?

Or does it hook to battery, then power line running to amp get fused (where I think it goes).

If it is where I think, will a fused distro block with 100a AGU fuses suffice or should I get another separate fuse holder/300a fuse?

Ground Underhood battery to chassis (will be done in big 3 anyways)

Then run a ground from chassis in trunk to negative on battery.

Then run a another run of ground wire to my ground distro and to amps from there?

Just a couple clarifications before I jack anything up.

And also I dont plan on running w/ car off or anything so I dont need an iso right?
