Looking to keep stock radio, speakers... I’m done with HO alts, batts, 0ga runs. I just need more bass, enough to get away without upgrading stuff.

I play mostly E-40 and corridos (spanish) but favor old school rap.

I have a pair of SA 15 v3 8cube box @31hz on a FSD2600 amp that will NOT be going in the Tahoe. I will likely use the amp or downgrade in a trade and sell the sub/box.
Ive had SA for many years and time to try another brand.

My top pick is a single FI ssd 12 v4 ported to around 30hz.

any other brands that get low without the punchy bass in a custom box?

anyone out here in Idaho near Boise?

tyvm!

For a daily setup that can play low without being peaky all while having great SQ I would do an Adire Audio Tumult.

The difference between it and the SA series in terms of SQ is 100% night and day difference

I just did a t-line for a Brahma, there will be 2 of them (home audio). Those subs are ridiculously nice. They are quite a bit more expensive too.

thanks for the recommendation. Not sure I want to drop 600.00 minus a box on a sub.

my budget is about 600.00 w/box

Showtime electronics has the tumult for $447 and the slighty weaker Brahma for $337.

The newest revision of the Sundown SA series are $300, there no longer a budget sub. Brahma has high MSRP but it's misleading because there almost always on sale.

Current price for the Brahma is only like 40 more dollars than the SA series

@Buck can design you a box for it and suggest what type of ported box you should go with for the room you have for it in your vehicle.
thank you! I’ll hit him up when I get back in town

When has that not been the case? Really their inability to keep up with production is the only bad thing to be said about their products though so there is that.
Lol.

well I guess that says a lot about their product :)
