2012 HDC3's any good?

It would be $460 for me lol. Canada ******* ***** for importing quallity things.Why would it be better, for only a jl monoblock the aq would be louder.

You, we, or anybody wont know that. It all depends on the install and type of vehicle really. I just prefer to have my subs built to order, quality is good

Does anybody know if the JL JK 1000/1d is stable at 1ohm.

It doesn't state it but why only down to 2ohm?

I love my Fi BL and i chose it over the HDC3 15", ive seen way too many HDC3's fail being pushed at about the same rate im murdering mine. It took me one month to get my Fi from purchase date.

How many HDC's have YOU blown? I prefer to respond based off first hand experience.

Both are solid subs, just one is more bottom heavy, some like that sound some don't.

My AQ's do a 56+ @ 30Hz, so yes they can play low and loud

I'm no expert though. Wouldn't really know what I'm getting for the price.

Could you build something like an HDC but that can hit lows too? I just bought a big piece of mdf,

making a 4.4 box @33hz so that the hdc could play low to.

Do you have better soft parts than the hdc? The AQ's are a good deal for the price.

I want a good sounding sub, that's why I bought a 15 RE SXX and it wasn't loud, but it sounded great.

I'm selling it for something louder, but I need those quality brain scramblin lows. You have a website any pics of your subs?

6th order, plays pretty flat from 30-50Hz, peaks at 51Hz...
