2012 HDC3's any good?

AQ has a 2 year warranty, so that's pretty ******* great.

I can just sell it after the warranty and buy whatever I feel like then. A loud sub will be a change from my RE SXX.

email from sq tech.

Our subs are currently built in China, this is how we offer such great deals, but this shouldn't detour you from using our product. We have engineered these woofers right here in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and made sure they are up to par to beat the industry standards. We offer a great warranty, and if you ever have to rebuild the woofer it is rebuilt right here in the United States with quality product.

yeah, good luck obtaining warranty service through AQ if you ever have any problems. They DO NOT cover anything! I had the glue joints break on mine and they told me it sounded like user error and told me I would have to pay to have them reconed. I could understand if it was a fried coil or something but not a glue joint. They were not even played below the tuning frequency. I also was not aware that they were not made in the USA until after having issues with them. They do good numbers but are poorly made.

China products versus machined in the USA :}, if you manage to blow an Fi you shouldnt be running subs :p
You know parts of the sub could break, or the glue could get torn because of Fi fault, I wouldn't be able to get another sub.

Yeah, but if that happens with Fi I'm screwed out of $400.

A recone is allot cheaper, I would demand they fix it for free if it wasn't my fault lol.

honestly if i blow mine id just get a drop in recone with better soft parts etc. the motors are beast but the soft parts/suspension etc are not very well built. im about to recone mine regardless if its blown or not
