2002 civic on a tiny budget.

Hello! I made a post yesterday over on CarAudioForum(Not sure if the forums like each-other but lets hope so.) and got tons of help, but you can never have enough opinions.

My sister just bought a 2002 civic. The stock radio was shot, along with the front speakers. Back speakers are missing.

We got her a Kenwood BT518HD head unit, and she said she wants to get some better speakers.

Taking into consideration her budget is under $100, cheaper is better, an amp is not an option unless someone has one real cheap used. So that limits the options on speakers, a lot.

I do have an old Kenwood 50W RMS x2 channels @4 ohms that I could possibly use but honestly I doubt I will. We can get something better when she has a bit more money to spend.

Can't find Infinitys anywhere all that cheap so I think we'll go with the JBLs I have listed.

I don't believe the fronts in this car have those little tweeters in the column like some so could I still use a component? Or should I just get the GTOs in the OP?

Also, the speakers don't have to get all that super loud. Looking for nice clean music at medium sound levels.

polks are fine.. u can add the tweet, they should come with diff mount options may even just stick on but those may not have that.. like hertz said look at speaker on parts express some of the cheap speakers will amaze u but if u don't have amp and dsp or xover for tweet u may could just use the mids for rear (we don't use rear speakers) so just a mid in back (if hu has 70hz xover on it) will be good and like he said u could find a pair for $20 and get a comp set for front (is more time consuming to install) or spend few $ u save on rear speakers on hu.. i'll check your hu model # see if it has xover

Best buy has speakers on sale every other week other then that with a $100 budget just go to walmart and get some pioneers

Two channels means it has two channels lol. Ch1 and ch2. Focus on front stage. Ch1 left and ch2 right. Or ch1 6.5s and ch2 tweets

I know I probably sound stupid. I take that back, I KNOW I sound stupid.

I've never touched car audio and the only sound systems I've done have been pull them out of the box, place speakers around the room and hook it all up.

I attached a picture of my amp. I guess my question is, can I run all 4 speakers off of it?
