Alrighty I have an idea that no one has suggested...I think....

Run your head unit ground to the ground on the highs amp. I know your prolly saying wtf is this guy talking about. Doesnt have to be a monster wire just basic 10-14ga. lol yep. It was from my first install so I just left it and the maxi to power the amp for the highs instead of just running the 2ga back and putting a disto block on, which is probably what I should have done.

i do this now with all amp installs, you have to run remote wire, so now i use 2 conductor (speaker wire) for remote & radio ground. this has helped so much on preventing wine.......... if its is a pioneer it probably wont help.

You seen the deck lol you know it's not a pioneer. Well at least you should ;P. You might have forgotten if you have had a lot of business though.

Running that ground wire back is on my things to do list for the weekend.

Thank you, some people just can't understand that everyone has to start somewhere. They expect people who have never had any experience with something to turn out professional work and that is simply impossible. I am a fan of constructive criticism because I believe it makes people learn from mistakes but everyone doesnt have to be so rude about it.
