yeah, they only mask the problem anyway. i would check the rcas and get rid of whatever you have on them, maybe their causing it, try it without them.. also try wrapping them tight and in a few layers of electrical tape. thats one thing i did to solve mineBought a RCA ground loop isolator in hopes to solve the hum/whine from the front speakers. It didn't change anythingDidn't get a chance to check the RCA's behind the HU yet.
what does that do? that switches the inputs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but op uh why didn't you try the free stuff first? like switching the rcs cables..Switch the RCAs of the sub amp and comp amp? What does that do?
It's on the list for tomorrowyeah, they only mask the problem anyway. i would check the rcas and get rid of whatever you have on them, maybe their causing it, try it without them.. also try wrapping them tight and in a few layers of electrical tape. thats one thing i did to solve mine
Trying that tomorrowSwitch the RCAs of the sub amp and comp amp? What does that do?
I got antsy and assumed the ground loop isolator would solve the problem because because it fits all of the descriptions.what does that do? that switches the inputs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but op uh why didn't you try the free stuff first? like switching the rcs cables..
Some more was done to make them straighter but i didn't get to take any pics of it, the jigsaw didn't like to cut straight at all. Also it isn't that the holes are crooked, the amp was crooked because it's not mounted.need to cut the amp holes a little bigger, and straighter //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
and thats gonna all be mounted down.. right? including the amps, crossovers and the amp rack?
Ipod cable, not aux cable. I'll try the radio tomorrow but i don't think it will make a difference.just thought of something..
what are you using as your music source? aux input? i know on mine, that when im using my aux input with my ipod, with NO music playing i get that fuzzy type noise, only when no frequencies are being played..
maybe it's the same case for you? ive never noticed it if i used CDs.. i'll check tomorrow to see if it does it with CD's too, but yeah same thing happens when i use my aux output only when volume is up (isnt audible when volume is lower than like 20 on my HU)
hmm, maybe it could do the same with direct connection, havnt had one so not sure.. does it do it with CDs? pop one in, put on pause and turn it upSome more was done to make them straighter but i didn't get to take any pics of it, the jigsaw didn't like to cut straight at all. It's not going to be mounted because it will all be mounted to the amp board which is snug in the trunk and will not be moving anywhere.

It does it on the radio also. And I don't have a CD player lol. Alpine HU that cost me $350 doesnt even have a CD player.hmm, maybe it could do the same with direct connection, havnt had one so not sure.. does it do it with CDs? pop one in, put on pause and turn it up
