2001 Accord ****** Problem Help me!

Okay everytime I get into my car and try to put it in reverse or drive, the button on my shifter wont push in, and yes my foot is on the break. I have to sit there for like 5 minutes continually pushing it and it will finally go in. Has any body else ever had this problem? Im thinking its a fuse or something help me out.

if thats the cause usually the brake lights are wired in this same circuit. if i were you i'd check the fuse, and check connections @ brake switch. very possible to have a short even at the taillights in the rear.

I was going to say the same thing, check that brake switch. Should be a slight relief for ya, I'd almost guarantee there is not a ***** problem.
