Power Steering

Power Steering Fluid is leaking everywhere. Any idea what could be wrong? I bought a new power steering pump I need too install. Also, that guage that tell's me how much gas is in my tank stopped working also, any idea on how to get that fixed or should I just take it to a mechanic?

It's an 1985 Cutlass Salon, fully restored with a 305. I just have a few minor problems...

Maybe you have a split hose?

Those operate under pressure and it doesnt take much of a hole to have it spitting out fluid.

PS-

The fuel guage not working requires a sending unit, the part that sits within your gas tank and has the float on it.

If you arent comfortable dropping a tank (they can be heavy) you would be better off getting a local mechanic to do it for you.

Alright, I think I am just going to take it up to a local mechanic and have them fix these problem's for me, I just wasn't sure if it was something that I would be able to do or not.
