My brother has a Beretta 3901 12ga with the 28" barrel. Nice nice gun. You can literally shoot for hours and have very little fatigue.

all i know is first time with a gun i was given a standard wood stock old 12 gauge, and was shootin clays, uncle fires first shot right next to my ear and i hear EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

i shoot now i hear more EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

then all i hear the rest of the day was EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and a soft shoulder

lol i guess in Britain they are too tuff and done use earmuffz or rubber stocks...

12 gauge. Easier to find ammo, more versatile, cheaper to buy the gun itself. No reason not to.

first, load both shotguns, then, stick the tip of the 12 ga in your mouth and pull the trigger, then, put the tip of the 20ga in your mouth and pull the trigger, i bet the 12ga does more damage

your best gun for home defense is a 20g.....any shots fired will be close range...plus they are easy to shoot one handed...in case you are wounded.....for hunting the 12g is better because of the extra range...but nearly impossible to shoot one handed.....in self defense without loosing it
