Lookin to get a new shotgun to be used for the field use and deer. The gun will be a combo. I've heard that the 20 will do the job easily up to 125 yards. Prolly just goin to get a mossberg 500 combo

first, load both shotguns, then, stick the tip of the 12 ga in your mouth and pull the trigger, then, put the tip of the 20ga in your mouth and pull the trigger, i bet the 12ga does more damage

Well since you want to hunt deer I would probably go for a 12. If it was just smaller game I would favor a 20.

Get yourself a nice rifled slug barrel if you plan on shooting sabots.

I've also gotta recommend the good ol Remington 870 Express. Cheap, reliable, and an all around great gun.
