2 type R's or 1 Fi Q?

Like they guy above said, if you listen to rap, stick with the R's. I mean the Q sounds good on the low end, but overall the 2 12's will get louder than the 1 Q. Not by much though. I have had both setups in same car off same amp and my 2 12" Type R's did a 141.3 on the TL to when my Q was in there I did a 138.1 on the TL. So I gained a few dbs with the R's. They were both in sealed applications as well with basically the same electrical. Overall I liked the sound of the Q a lot more, but the R's did beat good. Just got sloppy with certain songs. My R's did last longer than my Q though and was the down fall of that company for me with 2 silly things from surround ripping from playing the sub and the first time they said I blew it off 800rms on a 1000rms sub, lol! I don't clip or get on them too hard either. Overall I say stick with the R's for durability, but that is just in my case. Others will tell you different, I am sure.

COMPLETELY different subs... and 1 type-r will be louder than 1 fi q (generally speaking), so 2 type-rs will **** an FI Q, but the Q will sound better than the type-rs

sooo basically its whatever ur into, spl or SQ

I would personally take 2 subs over 1 if they were decent subs (like the type-rs)
