First, what is a good idea on how much port area you should have per cubic foot? Some have said 10 but then some say 15. Is it more of a personal preference or will it make a big change? And would that be for the total box volume or what sub will see after all the displacements. Also what us the minimum port width you can use without getting turbulance or causing any problems?
Second, I'm fixing to build another box and after building my first I really don't want to use screws because of having to predrill and countersink all the holes. I don't have access to a nail gun so is it possible to use just nails and a hammer. My cuts will be pretty straight because I'm going to use a table saw. Also the inside of the box will be fiberglassed for strength.
Thanks
Chris
