wasnt anything special, never hit thermal protect, though it got really hot, and wasnt very efficient

edit: gains off, 9V preouts on 2 memphis M class 10s @ 1 ohm bridged

I'd get different subs...the GPV amps are fine for the price, but there's obviously better to be had for a little more money. Soundstream DTR comes to mind.

I know these aren't heard of but YouTube has told me nothing but good things from these. I'm getting te sub and box or only 60$, which is a good deal.

I'd run two different subs(mismatched) one could be for SQ and the other could be for SPL, then you would have it all covered. Find a nice Audiobahn amp and you're set.

They're junk subs from a junk company. If you're getting a sub+box for $60, then I guess that's an ok deal, even though if it's a pre-fab ported box it'll probably just be a fart machine.

Keep in mind I'm not looking to win a competition, and that I'm driving a ford ranger so space is a bit on the limited side, as is the money.

Don't need to. Just how I don't need to use Pyle and Legacy stuff to know it's over rated junk. Performance Technique is a flea market brand like Pyle, Legacy, Kole, etc. They may be able to fart loud in a pre-fab box, which is all that a lot of people look for who don't know any better, but I can guarantee you that it won't have any balls down low.

Alright, I'll give you this one. What I said was just to fuck wit ya, don't take it seriously lol.

Performance Teknique is CRAP. Bottom of the line, overrated, poor quality, unreliable equipment that isn't even worth the low price you pay for them.

What's your budget, and what EXACTLY are you looking to buy? Wiring, subs, amps, etc. I need specifics, like if you want sound quality, output, or a mix of the two.

Not looking to fight, but Some of them might be bad but I think saying all of them are bad is an over statement. The reviews on the model im looking at have been quite good actually. As for what I want, I'm not wayy into this like some of you might be. I want a system that'll be fun and loud to hear is all. I really appreciate your guys's feedback though.

For what it's worth, most reviews are done by noobs who have probably never heard a legit system before and just don't know what else is out there.
