2 questions!

Hi CA. As you know, i'm always changing my mind about what sub/amp I should get. I've been hearing good things on youtube about these Performance Teknique 12'' subs.

Now i'm just looking for a good amp for this. I dont wanna spend too much money, because i don't have a huge job like a lot of you who get really cool systems. But I heard these are loud and I wanna get the right amp!

I was thinking somewhere along the lines of 500 watt rms continuous would power this perfectly. I just don't know where to look, or if thats even good.

Does anyone know if the crunch ground pounder series amps work well? It's the Crunch GPV1000.2 and it should power the 12'' performance teknique sub perfectly! I don't have a huge budget range...

I've heard awesome things on the Perforance teknique subs actually. Look them up on YouTube. And yeah I heard crunch isn't the best, but why? People are always saying not to buy them and I'm just wondering why.

Recommend any other amps that will push out 500rms?

buy an incriminator audio 40.1 or sundown SAZ4500 and run them at 8 ohms

Why are you telling him not to buy that sub if you don't know jack shit about it? The latest line of Crunch amps (the GP & GPV) have actually been some of the best budget amps they've ever made, they do rated power and are more than affordable. Next time you want to shoot your mouth off about shit you know nothing about, just do us all a favor and don't.

you can always go with an audioque 1200. it is cheap and will allow for you to upgrade your subs later on

Op, if you're looking for 500@4ohms(I'm guessing so as that's what the Crunch amp you mentioned does), I have 2 amps for sale that will suit your needs. First is an MB Quart DSC 2150(600x1@4 bridged) and then I have a MB Quart ONX4.125(will do 500x1@4 on the rear channel bridged, and you'll still have 2 front channels in case you need to amp some front speakers).
