i wanna know how the low end is, below 35hz, thats the only hesitation i have about these subs, i've heard they are actually lacking on the bottom end

especially if you tune low...like anywhere between 26-32hz, but even when they were sealed they had very solid extension down to even 15hz, and now, tuned to 35hz+ I'm still loud easily down to 30hz, and I'm pretty sure down to 25hz too but I haven't listened to it that much yet, believe me, they can hit the lows VERY cleanly and with authority

Any particular song requests for vids? Or specific frequency material you want me to cover? Or just my usuals?

Looks pretty good! Did you check the actual tuning frequency to see how close you are to your calculated? Play some test tones from like 30-40hz and see where the cone moves the least and you will have your tuning frequency.

And I love the clamping method!

it ended up tuned somewhere between 35-40hz, not sure exactly where (i'm just guessing this based on excursion at 35hz and at 40hz being the smallest...not sure how good of a guess that is)

I only had tones in 5's on my ipod but I'll get a 36,37, 38, and 39hz one soon and get a closer estimate

Just went out and tuned it in a parking lot, ssf set and everything, fronts amp is in, gain turned up just before clipping maybe 850 a piece max

shits fvckin loud...I took some video but its short cuz the battery on the camera died...

overall, lows below ~28hz are a little lacking, they still move air like crazy and flex my car like hell but just aren't as loud to the ear as I like them to be...idk, maybe its just because there's a bigger delta between the 35-45hz range and the 20-30hz range than I'm used to which makes the 20-30hz range sound quieter in comparison. my old set up when these were sealed was nearly flat down to ~20hz, and even below that it didn't lose any output at all until my ipod/HU/amp started to lose freq response

btw i LOVE how there's almost no rattly sound from the outside anymore at all, almost all you hear is music, and with the car all sealed up its pretty quiet outside which is also awesome.
