2 independent subs?

"remote gain"; Is that like having an independent dial to ajust the base on your one sub channel? Because that's starting to make a lot more sense than toggling 2 seperate subs. I'm playing romantic period orchestra which requires both SQ and extreme SPL.
If the entire system is set up and powered correctly, you won't need anything special (even remote gain) to get it to sound the way that you want. A properly set up SQ system will do exactly what you seek. You'll want a really dynamic front stage as well and a lot of power on tap for it, too.

Get a pair of the 13.5 W7's they will do what you want
For less money you coudl go the SI mag route

a treo of IDMax would do it as well.

A 18" or 15" Fi Q might also do what you are asking.

Do you have tons of space?

What is your budget?

RMS on amps available for this install?
My budget= about $1K

my space= a 90' 300zx (sub-compact range)

The ups is the head unit is going to be cheap (I need a cd/cassete player) and I found where tho get the stroker cheap (about $300). I really want to keep the stroker. Is there any way I can squeeze SQ out of it?
