2 years too late. Same concept literally, instead of buying a capacitor and using spare drivers, you just buy the piezo directly which already blocks out bass frequencies. Still same 2 dollar cost.

What i did was just adding a pos and negative run from my speaker output terminal straight to the piezo which is paralleled to the subs. The amp is seperated from the cabin so i can play both and see my clipping point with a load. If your amp is by your sub, you'll have a hard time hearing the clipping point because the bass is too loud.
