2 alpine type r box dimensions

I drive a 98 cavalier z24......i need some dimensions for two alpine type r 12" subs to get the best sound......any help will be great.....

if i can get some length by width by height ideas would be great

what lengthXwidthXheight do you have to work with?

length - 37 1/2 inches

width - 35 1/2 inches

height - 18 inches

thats about all the room the trunk will fit so its behind the seat

is that all the info u need?

Make sure you don't make it so big it won't slide into the trunk.

My R's are getting ~2cf a piece in a slot ported box tuned at 33 hz, its a good setup.

i think i got the idea on the box....now whats better to use the circular ports that u put in....or the cut rectangle port?? if so how many circular ports/ how big does the rectangle port need to be on a box thats

L= 30"

W= 20"

H= 16"

i would go pvc, that's just a personal choice however.

ok so im goin to get 4-4" ports in the back of the box.....is my box big enough?

i think its like 5.5 cubic feet total
