t shape sub

I own a explorer and im building my sub box

the question is if i build the box in a t shape to fit between the fender walls will i get a lower spl if the box is square/rectangle?

in db drag I hear that your box has to be lower then your windows is this ture?

any help or thoughts would be great

any help for a new audio/exploder guy would be great

If Im understanding your question right, The shape of the box shouldnt matter as long as you have the proper air space.

As far as the DB drag..... Thats what Ive heard but Im not sure. Ive never competed.
