just wondering if u get any dimming running those 2 orions?

with the sub level all the way up on the HU and the BBE also as high as it will go on the HU with gains 1/2 way or so yes i get dimming but while driving it hasn't gone below high 13s (that 300 amp alt likes driving not idling) but it's plenty sufficient for now since it drops to high 13s when its CRAZY loud which i wont be doin much just testing it out for now

im running stocks too, poor people FTL

still waitng on the **** amp

got the batteries put in today and just wired them up and strapped down, box is all fiberglassed and together except carpet and baffle glued on

waiting on the goliath, this is its last week at Amprepaircenter its going to CIA if they dont get it this week

that sucks about the amp, only thing i have left to do really is epoxy one of the tnuts ( keeps falling out so i just taped over the mounting hole till i get it fixed, and think of way to keep my box nad batts strapped down

lol you tell me about it...17 with no steady job at the moment, just basically slowly buying and saving for abotu 15 months and i'd guess 40-50 hours total on the build and install together

also, i will be posting a wood working tutorial in a few days to help anyone from beginners to even pros with little tricks i use that you might know about with box building

Nice work, yea i would love to learn some wood working things, never took a wood tech class in highschool, just welding and metal work.

actually i've never taken any class, and for that matter, haven't built much of anything out of wood so anyone can learn if i can it's just mainly my gdad (genius wood worker), patience, and perfectionism is what made the build turn out so good.

i dont know yet? since this isn't the average build i was thinking something unique... any ideas guys?? i'll prob paint but not sure waht color or if i will period...all i know is that itll be a little while since it takes about 4-5 ppl to put in and take out the box

I dont know, im a big fan of leather/vynil covered boxes. But i think if you sealed that really well then bondo'd etc. etc. and took it to a nice paint shop (or did the work yourself as you obviously do good work) then put on a ton of clear it would be pretty sick. black would look tight.
