This is my first true build since my first build was stopped about 75% into it since i sold one of my avalanche 18s then a little while later sold the last one. Loyd told me to do 12 cubes net with 150" port 18" long (~35hz) so here is the plan i came up with ... 48" wide, 19" high (window line), 37.5" deep ... double layered all over. Also, i decided to be creative and do a changeable port similar to meades. Here's the sketch i designed of what it would come out to look like
I probably spent 15-20 hours on this build BEFORE the actual box began to be assembled since i had to perfectly plan everything, cut, double layer (glue, predrill, countersink, screw), and not to mention i'm somewhat of a perfectionist and my gdad is the biggest perfectionist i know and one of the best wood workers around my whole area.
Since i don't have any pictures of the layering the peices i'll start with the first step i took to start assembling the peices ... went ahead and drilled the holes for the bottom of the box and countersunk them a nice depth
I forgot to take a picture of the first side on but heres a few pics of the left side and back peices assembled
