2 9515 box build ***PICS***

An absolutely fantastic job with the construction, but I'm just wondering why everything is doubled like it is? A properly braced enclosure would have more than sufficed, but to each his own. You are doing fantastic work, keep it up and let us know how it sounds.

BTW, who designed the enclosure?

Very nice , just wondering about the terminal cups though. Looks like an Achilles heel //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

hey man you remember me from the ckr comps? but i designed and planned the whole box myself i just asked loyd what size he'd do and he said 12 cubes with 150" port so i went off that and built it. all the big spl guys told me to double and i have a 4x4 tahoe so weight wasn't a huge huge issue and i wanted to do an enclosure with no bracing on the inside for just better airflow so that's why i went doubled.

I do remember you from the show. I'm trying to wrap my head around the necessity for 12 cubes when you have a 2500d per 9515. I may not be Willie, Gorman, or Loyd, but I feel like more could be accomplished with much less. To maintain proper airflow inside the enclosure and not have to double every piece of MDF you use, 1.25" round wooden dowels are FTW. Like I said earlier though, the box is definitely something to be proud of, I just wanted to make you aware that there are different ways of building a solid enclosure.

Hey sorry about the wait on updates but i finally got it finished yesterday...worked from 11 saturday morning till 515 this morning ... got to bed at 7 lol. but anyway i'll let the pictures do the talking for now...
