2 18" in an explorer sport

yeah..it can take the power better...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
as long as i can get close to putting them in the proper power range ill be happy. im very indecisive a lot of time and i rethink things through my head over and over.

thinking im gonna go with the Bl's based on i want sexxx's post that BL's probably work more off of motor force than linear excursion.
1 last question i got. got the idea of termpro but the thread ended quickly with no clear cut answer.

has anyone tried to fire subs forward and port back in an SUV? ive never even heard of it till i searched termpro for 18"s in explorers. hell if someone told me they were gonna do that i would suggest against it. however, im always down for peoples opinions and suggestions. im thinking you would get some kind of cancellation, but 1 guy did say that it works pretty good at termpro. would look pretty cool to have 2 18's right behind your head when your sit in the back too.

anyone?
anyone got any idea on this one?

yea shit happens that way. If that thing is anything like my regular explorer just fire them back with he port firing back as well. Where are you located at?
southern california.

ive run only 1 setup with sub and ports back and it was nice. every other setup has been sup up port back.

i thought i read on here that sub up port back is louder on mike and sub back port back is louder to the ear. all i really care about is louder to the ear.

This isn't an Explorer but here's a pic of my Bl 18s. 13.5ft 192.5" of port tuned to 32hz.

you did a build thread right? i believe i saw it earlier today //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. nice work on the box. looks fantastic!

Yeah, I have a build thread on Meade's site and linked to it on the Fi forum. With the talk in here about box sizes and sub direction I wanted to add my little bit of experience. This box hits the lows extremely well in the 30-32hz range. 143db @ 30hz.
