Help me pick subs for my friend... all SPL

Alright he knows nothing about car audio so he wants me to just tell him what to get but im not into all out spl so i don't know what to tell him to get

he has a budget of like 300 bucks for 1 or 2 subs whichever you think will work better he wanted 2 15's in the first place but he told me his budget and its kinda unreal unless he gets something cheap.... so either 2 12's or 1 15 that will get real loud and i told him hes gonna run em ported so fire away!

oh ya and he has 1200watts
