2 15s in a Mustang?

Hey everyone I was thinking of getting 2 15" D2's, with the sale going on and all. Just one question do you think I could fit them in a 03 mustang without taking out the rear seats or major modding of the trunkspace (cutting any metal). I was thinking just take out the trunk floor and relocate the spare, and using the space to house em, but I'm not sure if 2 15's would be able to fit in the stangs tiny trunk regardless. Any input would be appreciated greatly.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

No, you can, you would have to kill any idea of having trunk space. Other than that and the trunk lids on Mustangs need a bit work to deaden.

What about 4 tens?? That would be much easier and less expensive to fit then 2 fifteens.

I had a customer that wanted 2 twelves in his stang come in today and it appears to me that the most logical step would be to go with 4 tens, lots of width in there but pissall hight.

What? What are you talking about? How would 4 10"s be less expensive than 2 15"s? And how would it be easier? Even if he went sealed with both setups, the 10"s would require 2ft^3 less tops.

Theres a horrible height restriction that allows just enough room for a 10 to stand straight up, the width is decent though and if you angled the face into a vertical "w" shape and used a little depth the 4 10s would work.

As for price, 10's can be found at pretty decent prices and you could build the box yourself out of mdf. Yes it would be a tight sealed box, but the mutiple drivers would make up for it.

what many people don't understand is that you can do one or the other. you can have a very high performance vehicle, or you can have a very high performance audio system. why would you buy an 03 mustang if u wanted to **** up all of its performance with that weight? dunno, maybe i'm wrong, but i'd go with like a SINGLE 10" if i were u.

Ok let me go measure my trunk, I have a single ten, it won't stand straight up in a 3/4" MDF box so it's in a wedge box.

Believe it or not, not everybody buys Mustangs for performance buddy.
