2 15" type r's or 2 15" L7's???

l7's will get louder, more cone area and to me i tihnk they can handle more power
I had a 15" L7 in a custom ported box & it was loud, but I dont think they handle the watts all that great. I have a Kicker KX1200 on mine & it blew the shit out of it, & that was the 2nd amp. The first time I had a MTX1500d on it & though that was too much for the L7. That is why I kind of turned him away from the L7's. I will tell him to look into the others that have been mentioned too.

Hit him up! talk to the man, he knows what hes doing, he build the boxes to specs, all tuniing freqs are exact and volume etc. All exact, i just metered my car and i hit the loudest at the hz he tuned it to. I dont know man, but hit up MLStrass!
Well lets quit stealing this thread. But if you metered the highest at the tuning of the box that box isn't designed properly for daily. Very unmusical. And if yours is musical then your tuning probably isn't the same as your peak score. Most boxes depending on subs and box size etc peak 7 to 12 hz higher than their tune

I love my Type R 15s.

I haven't heard the L7s myself, but I would never put something that hideous in my vehicle. That goes for just about anything Kicker makes.

To each his own. With the right box, there is no way he will be disappointed with the Type Rs.

Sorry to change the thread here anyway back to which subs, check out the AudioQue's Hdc3's and Cascade Omegas, or NightShades, or some Rd Hw's
Those subs are all well and good but there RMS is way higher than the projected power this guy says he has.

The Rs and L7s fit perfect into tht ranking... I would check out FI SSDs though.
