2 15" type r's or 2 15" L7's???

Topic says it all, my buddy is contemplating what to get. He was looking into 2 L7 15's but I would say the type r's will get just as loud for a cheaper price. Either set up will have a custom box built (ported). The amp will be 2000 watts either a mmats amp or highfonics, with the big3 done & a Kinitek in the trunk.

Opinions please.

Get Audioque Hdc3's or some Cascade Omegas both of those will get louder at the same price hahaha

For just 2000w I believe the sdc2.5s would work.

And since youre in IL, you should hit up MLStrass he's a master box builder ha and hes made multiple boxes for audioque subs he knows their specs and everything, basically he'll know how to make it loud for you. And he made my box which was built great and very very strong. hit him up as well

Hey mazda I know it's a little off the topic, but how do you like that Memphis MCA2004 amp on you mids & highs? I just bought one & it sounded like a good deal for a brand new one, plus I just blew my phoenix gold amp for my mids & highs.

Not saying he isn't a master box builder..... But what defines you as a master box builder.... Building a lot of boxes. I know a lot of complete idiots that have built boxes and still couldn't tell you how to design them........ Now he may be great at both. But just because somebody builds a lot of them don't mean he knows what he is doing

I like the amp, it works great for my entire front/ rear stage its great. I have no problems with it.

Ask anoyone who has gotten a box built by him! They are great, and i jsut said master becuase it sounded like a good word. But he does build Amazing boxes. So ask anyone whose ever gotten one built from him. All you'll hear is good stuff.

Hit him up! talk to the man, he knows what hes doing, he build the boxes to specs, all tuniing freqs are exact and volume etc. All exact, i just metered my car and i hit the loudest at the hz he tuned it to. I dont know man, but hit up MLStrass!
