i got a set of plans from Mikey B on here for a box that will fit in my car. Thing is i want to *massage* it a bit if possible.

This i what i have:

The only thing i really want to do is make it maybe 1" to 2" taller and i either want the ports on each side, or i want to have one big port in the middle.

Also, what is the net vubes of this box? I'm looking for ~4cubes @ 30-32hz

ok, just finalized the amp deal, now this is the last part. can anyone look at this and see what can be done?

if i get nothing i may just flop the ports to the outside and build it the same. just need to be sure it's 4 cubes @ 30-32hz

Are you facing the box forward or to the rear.

If rear firing, shorter is better; it allows more

sound to pass back to the cabin.

I built this one from the box sticky:

it'll be subs/port toward the cabin. the reason i want to go taller is (a) i want it to protrude less into my space in the trunk. i'd like to have some room for stuff back there (b) i want there to be more "meat" around the subs. the recessed part gets really close to the edge

ok, i got a new idea.... i'm gonna come up with a box so that i can build an amp rack INTO it. i will try and roughly draw it out with some dimensions. if i do that, who can i get to actually take my idea and make a plan out of it? willing to drop some cash for a good plan. it won't be complicated, actually pretty basic IMO

ok. won't be back on until monday though. i should have it sketched by then.
