wait if i followed the rf diagrams (2 DVC @ 4ohm each = 4 ohm load) than how can i be running it at 8hm? i dont get it. sorryyou might be running the subs at 8 ohms which wont create much of a draw on that amp also if you have them in a crappy box. If you want them to pound loud your gonna need a good ported box and I along with everyone else on this forum will recomend you not to go with a prefab specially a bestbuy box. Good luck and hope that helps a bit. If you need to know how to rewire the subs correctly go to Rockfordfosgate.coma nd they have a wiring wizard that will help alot for beginners. I think the one issue you are going to run into though is that you will need a new 1 ohm stable amp.
As said many times you cannot possibly run 2 DVC 4ohm coil subs at 8ohms.wait if i followed the rf diagrams (2 DVC @ 4ohm each = 4 ohm load) than how can i be running it at 8hm? i dont get it. sorry
when u say wire the subs in series and parallel, i think i got that done. lol heres wat i just drew to show u how my wiring looks like.As said many times you cannot possibly run 2 DVC 4ohm coil subs at 8ohms.
For the pdx-1.1000 wire it at 4 ohms and you'll be sweet, it's underrated and should have plenty of power. Wire the coils in series and the subs in parallel.
