2 12" type r or 2 12" audioque sd 2.5

im trying to decide on 2 type r's or 2 sd 2.5's.

dont really know if the audioque's are worth the extra 90 bucks?

Here's the breakdown...

The HDC3's themselves are barely louder than a R. However, they will play at a louder volume for a longer period of time because they are better built.

I haven't tested the SD's vs. the R's, but I can almost bet the R is a little louder. With the SD's you'll have the ability to recone them if needed. But, the 10" and 12" R's are already so cheap that they're about the price of a recone anyways.

From what i've read the sd2.5 sound better too. My type R weren't getting enough low too

sdc2.5 sound pretty good to me, and they handle a good bit of power as well. Much more than rated.

I'll be working on my next build in around 2 weeks, two 15 in like 7.4 net tuned at 36hz. hope it get low enought even with the little airspace
