1.3ft^3 enclosure for (2) 10'' ICONS, with the older cones. Here are a few pics of my progress. I'll have more pictures of the box in my truck when the subs come in

I had to make the back of the box in two seperate pieces to allow me to get around the hump on the back of the cab

And a couple pics with a 10'' BL to show how tight of a squeeze its going to be

1999 Ranger regular cab. I'll get some more pictures up soon when the subs come in. Not too much space behind those seets.

I sure hope they fit. They are listed at 6'' deep and the Bl is listed at 6.25'' deep. I can always make a ring to put on the baffle to give me an extra .75'' if I need it.

Just goes to show the number of slugs in a motor doesn't always translate to it's size. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Good luck with your build, I always wanted to try out an Icon, unfortunately I was in the market for an 18".

I love the baby blue on black theme.

Thanks....they sure look sexy on the screen, I can't wait to see them in person. I just realized that the ICONS don't have a chamfer on the magnet like my Bl does. So they may not fit without adding a ring to the baffle.

I seas some neo's
Nice tweets //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Thanks, too bad I'm using them with a Pioneer ts-c720 passive crossover right now. They are not up to their potential, but they still sound very nice.

And a pic showing a peek of the deadening before the rest of the ensolite went on

Notice the Dodge floormats in a Ford. Oh well, hopefully only one more year with this truck anyways....

Thanks. One of the Icons should be here Friday, and I'm not sure if J sent the second one out yet, but I can't wait.

I went with the neo's because I bought the set used and one of the tweeters was blown. A replacement tweeter from Pioneer was $100 and wasn't available for a few months. But....I did hook up the one working one for a few songs and it sounded real good to me. If I had a complete working set there would be no reason to switch out the tweets, unless you were to run active.

Well I finished putting the box together today. I had to run up to Home Depot to buy a 2' x 2' sheet of 3/4'' mdf (handy panel or whatever they call it) but they were all out. So I drove down the street to Menards and they didn't have any either (our Menards lumber section must have been set up by a crack head by the way). So I bought a piece of 3/4'' birch plywood instead. Here are a few pics:

And I went to town with the caulk and glue so it should be sealed up real real well.
