1ohm Stable A/B amps

I have never and still do not understand the low impedence thing. Half my system runs at 8 ohms.
Same here. Most people don't understand the higher impedance drivers are 99% of the time more efficient, negating the lack of power output from the amp.

Ryan,

There is a guy selling a few old school MTX Terminators that drop to half ohm stereo here:

2x100 @ 1 ohm stereo and 2x200 @ 1 ohm stereo models. Might have to negotiate to get him to split them up.

It doesn't show it in the "quick Specs", but it's 1 ohm stable (stereo). The power listed @ 2 ohm stereo, is 200 W/ch., so it should do 250-275 W/ch @ 1 ohm. http://http://mobile.bostonacoustics.com/car/car_product.aspx?category_id=19&family_id=90&product_id=462

If that is too much, you can go with this one. It should do 150 W/ch @ 1ohm.http://mobile.bostonacoustics.com/car/car_product.aspx?category_id=19&family_id=90&product_id=464
They're kinda pricey and the specs are all listed here.
