Who makes them nowadays? Looking for a good quality 2 channel that can do 150+ per channel at 1ohm.
cool story broI have never and still do not understand the low impedence thing. Half my system runs at 8 ohms.
Same here. Most people don't understand the higher impedance drivers are 99% of the time more efficient, negating the lack of power output from the amp.I have never and still do not understand the low impedence thing. Half my system runs at 8 ohms.
They're kinda pricey and the specs are all listed here.It doesn't show it in the "quick Specs", but it's 1 ohm stable (stereo). The power listed @ 2 ohm stereo, is 200 W/ch., so it should do 250-275 W/ch @ 1 ohm. http://http://mobile.bostonacoustics.com/car/car_product.aspx?category_id=19&family_id=90&product_id=462
If that is too much, you can go with this one. It should do 150 W/ch @ 1ohm.http://mobile.bostonacoustics.com/car/car_product.aspx?category_id=19&family_id=90&product_id=464
Maybe wire them in series to 16ohm to keep bl up? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifI would definitely run them at a higher impedance.
