This is my best friend's car. I helped him come up with the design....(yes, it's nothing fancy, but it will do what he wants, which is to get some bass back after a year of nothing!)

He built the box and did all the other work himself after we came up with it, but as of last night he now a daddy for the first time. I got his woofers in today and I know he wants them in, but of course he's takin care of his wife and new baby. So I told him I would hook it up for him and get him playin. As well as put it on the meter for bass race since he want's to hit a couple shows locally.

Other than that, I'm just gonna recarpet some pieces and try to make things look.... "pretty" I guess you could say.

One thing I am going to suggest is that you not run rear components and stick with coaxials. Ive heard setups that run both front and rear components and, to me, it seems to decrease the sound quality. That is just my personal opinion, but install what you think sounds best.

Look real good man, i wish you were my friend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Ok, thanks for the advice...we're prob gonna just do coax's all the way around.

IMO, that 2500 is too much for those 12's. I would think that amp on 15" L7's would be a lil too much even. I guess just watch the gain like a hawk.

Man I hate those trunks.
You slide the box in or build it in the trunk?

Also whats the tuning?
Built outside, slid in from there.

Tuned to 33 hertz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Ok, sorry you feel that way. Your opinion. We got it under control though. Its not all about the gains, but thanks for your concern.

Awesome setup mang.

I wonder how my 3 L5's would compair to those...

(I should be gettin another l5 once I get my 3 l5's ..... they are gettin some work done to them)

And then i wonder how 4 L5's would stack up to those...

(mine are the 06 version)

Guess I shouldn't tell you guys that for comps, we'll be droppin in two kx2500.1's hehehe //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
