Looking good man I think you will have a nice system when you are done.

Thanks guys, great to hear that.

My car is in the shop right now cause it needs a new radiator, luckily my dad said he'd pay for it.

Also, I just started at my first actual job yesterday, so now i'll have more money for car audio!

just for your audio gear? god **** lol you pay for it yourself? GJ and only being 16
Yeah it was all out of my pocket. Big portion was birthday and christmas money, but i still had to work for a lot of it, nothing was just handed to me for no reason.

Thats ok, if the glue is already dry then you dont need any screws.
Yeah I figured it would be fine without them, but i went and got more to finish it up anyways. Couldn't find ones the same gold color though, so i just went with grey ones that were the same size, they'll get painted over anyways.

Box looks fantastic!
I should try my hand at my first box. I had Twisted build my last one and he does good work, however I have all the tools minus the router, but I believe my friend has one........so I should try it..........at 32, lol!
Haha yeah it's not that hard if you have the tools. A table saw is a must, I used my friend's dad's. And some clamps will definitely come in handy too, I borrowed those too. Then a jigsaw worked well for the rest of the cutouts I had to do.

Nice....the equipment, the quality of the install and the discipline to do it right the first time

Glad to see a 16 year old with patience and some god **** common sense. I'm diggin the fact you worked for your money and flew everything on this build solo. Doing installs by yourself always sucks and it's nice to see someone read up on how to install and do it right the first time. I will never understand why %90 of people who install stereos do it half assed. I like how you went back and corrected the port issue, most people would have just left it

If I could say anything it would be the doors. I know I'm not there to personally listen to your system but I would bet deadening those front 2 doors would make those Hertz speakers sound even better. +1 for rockin the jigsaw for your cutout and not making it look like the state of texas. Would have been nice to see you design the box yourself rather than go to the good ol' re audio calculator though;)

For 16 you got your shit together. Keep it up
