Well first of all I'm gonna start out saying I'm 16 and this is my first build. I don't have a job so money was a bit tight, hence I won't have a sub stage for awhile. I don't even actually have my license yet either, just permit. But this car will be mine when i do, parents have had it since I was born.

So this is what i went with:

HU- Alpine CDA-9886

Front speakers- Hertz HCX 165

Rear speaker- ARC Audio FD6025

Amp- ARC Audio KS 300.4

Kicker 1/0 dual amp power kit

Got just the HU in the car today. Still waiting on some RCA's and the power kit.

New alpine installed

Ran the ipod cable to the center part

Gonna go get a sheet of wood tomorrow to make an amp mount, it's gonna go in the trunk on the back of the back seats. Just waiting for my other stuff to come to finish this up.

looks like a good step in the right direction....Though...I wouldn't of bought rear speakers unless ...something small for fill (full or mid range no tweeters)...

Well i decided i'll be driving enough of people around, so might as well put in some coaxs for rear. I had some stuff hooked up on a power supply yesterday in my room. The ARCs sound pretty good, but the Hertz are amazing, especially for coaxials.
